I.  PURPOSE:  This procedure governs how Central Wyoming College utilizes grants and other sponsored awards.

II.  PROCEDURE:

A.  Sponsored Award / Grant Funds:  All funds received from sponsored awards / grants are Central Wyoming College funds and must be administered as any other college funds.  The awarding funder may obligate the college to additional requirements in the use of such funds, including requirements for prior approval of the awarding funder before any expenditure is obligated
B.  Sponsored Award / Grant Utilization:  The procedure steward will maintain the associated implementation process for this procedure (link above), and it must contain:

1.  Definitions

a.) Participant
b.) Participant Support Costs
c.) Stipends/Scholarships
d.) Subsistence Allowance
e.) Travel Allowance
f.) Other/Participant Related Expenses
g.) Unallowable Costs

2.  Responsibilities for

a.) Monitoring participant support costs
b.) Implementing any subsistence allowance, travel allowance, and other/participant related expenses.
c.) Sponsored Award / Grant equipment loans to participants

3.  Any other information the procedure steward includes as it relates to the application and utilization of sponsored awards / grants at the college.
