In an effort to recognize employees of Central Wyoming College who make significant contributions to the college, its students, staff and/or the community, the College hosts the Rustler Spirit Nomination  and the Rustler Spirit Award.  The Human Resources Department will administer the Rustler Spirit nomination and award process.

Rustler Spirit Nominations: These nominations recognize individual employee efforts, successes, accomplishments, etc. on an on-going basis. Any employee may recommend another individual employee or group of employees.  Nominations are publicly posted on campus as well as on college email and shared electronic resources. The college recognizes that groups of employees work on projects and their efforts may also warrant recognition, however the intent of this program is to recognize individual employee efforts. Group nominations will be shared with the campus through college email but not included in the Rustler Spirit Award review process.

Rustler Spirit Award:  The Director-Human Resources will convene a committee, made up of two members selected by each employee association, to evaluate the nominations and choose the recipient.  Recipients are named once per month for a minimum of seven awards annually, given sufficient nominations.

During the annual Staff Recognition Luncheon, all nominees and award winners will be recognized.
